Yes

Scanned copy of Passport size color Photograph.

Scanned copy of the original Qualifying Examination Certificate/Marksheet and KYC document (like Aadhar Card, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID etc.).

Scanned copy of any one of the original documents mentioning Date of Birth i.e., X Marksheet or School Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate /Character Certificate issued by the school authority.

Undergraduate Programs:

10+2 Pass candidates from a recognised board are eligible to enrol for the Undergraduate Programs.

Postgraduate Programs:

Applicant holding a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university is eligible to enrol for the Postgraduate Programs.

FAQs FOR ACADEMICS

Yes, the University is entitled by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to offer online degree programs. Additionally, AICTE has given the NOC to run our MBA and MCA programs under the online mode.

Degree at undergraduate and postgraduate levels are in conformity with UGC notification on Specification of Degrees, 2014 awarded through ODL mode and/or Online mode by Higher Education Institutions, recognised by the Commission under these regulations, shall be treated as equivalent to the corresponding awards of the Degrees at undergraduate and postgraduate level offered through conventional mode.

No. The Online Degree that you will receive from the Uttaranchal University is valid for lifetime.

Yes. Everything from application to convocation will be online and you can download the self- learning material (SLM) from your Learning Management System (LMS).

You will have 24*7 access to e-self-learning material and pre-recorded lectures on our Learning Management System (LMS), which can be accessed on any device.

The live sessions are scheduled online, after 6.00 pm on working days, and/or, Saturday(s) and Sunday(s). The weekly schedule will be put up on the Learning Management System.

Yes, online proctored examinations will be conducted.

The UU will conduct all the examinations either Computer based test or pen and paper test in a proctored environment with all the security arrangements ensuring transparency and credibility of the examinations. The UU may also resort to the technique of conducting examinations through technology mediated proctoring.

The attendance of examinee shall be authenticated through biometric system as per Aadhaar details or other Government identifiers for Indian learners and passport for international learners.

Yes, you can come to the campus as per the schedule uploaded on the Learning Management System (LMS).

Not mandatory but candidates are advised to attend these sessions for an effective teaching-learning process.

  • All Undergraduate Programs can be completed in a minimum duration of 3 years, and a maximum of ‘n+2’ years as per the UGC Regulations.
  • All Post Graduate Programs can be completed in a minimum duration of 2 years, and a maximum of ‘n+2’ years as per the UGC Regulations.

Yes. According to the University Grants Commission (UGC), you can pursue an on-campus degree and an online degree simultaneously.
